I managed to catch a word with the infectious glam-pop quartet that is INHEAVEN not so long ago. Following the release of their epic new single 'Baby's Alright' last month, the band are set for a huge 2016, but I'll let them tell you a bit more about that.

Who are INHEAVEN?
INHEAVEN are James, Chloe, Joe and Jake.
Who are your biggest influences, and how would you describe your sound?
Our biggest influences are John Hughes movies, Phil Spector, Creation Records and Motown.
You've recently dropped your new single 'Baby's Alright' - how has the response been?
The response has been amazing, people have started to sing it straight back at us at gigs!
You're all set for a jam-packed summer of festivals, is there any you're particularly looking forward to?
Yeah! Reading and Leeds. We've all dreamt of playing it since we were 15!
You're featured in Flying Vinyl's latest box, how important do you feel the re-birth of vinyl has been, and that the opportunity for up and coming artists to get their music pressed and heard is there via the medium of Flying Vinyl?
I think the rebirth of vinyl and the birth of Flying Vinyl is very important for bands. Bringing back the physical form of music also brings back a sense of worth for people choosing to buy a vinyl over downloading or streaming.
What has been your most memorable moment as a band so far?
Cult Records putting out a song we made in our bedroom.
What's next for INHEAVEN?
Sundara Karma and Yak tours over May and June.
Where can we find out and hear more from you?
