Grimsby band The Brookes have returned with their latest single, 'Blank Canvas', a gruelling but stunning track; engineered with some real grit.

An antidote for their recently ever-changing line-up, Blank Canvas presents the start of a new era for The Brookes. Wiping the slate clean, they have showcased what they do best. A plethora of epic guitar riffs, coinciding with the poetic vocals of lead singer Ben Keal help conjure up a record that oozes maturity.

Under our previous guise we once described The Brookes as 'the revitalisation of British guitar music', and we feel as though Blank Canvas only backs up our case. Though times have been relatively quiet for The Brookes of late; be on guard for a storm once Blank Canvas is let loose.
