20 years on from their last release, The Stone Roses are finally back; with new single, 'All For One'.

Whether it's what the World has been waiting for, or a major ten storey collapse; I'll let you decide. But to be honest, I don't think it's a bad effort. It's fiery, an indie banger at heart; incorporating a constant upbeat narrative with masterful Squire riffs, All For One has a stunning sound; I suppose it's just the lyrics that let it down.

But then again, whilst they may sound a tad bland and a bit too easy on recording; just imagine 50,000+ each night at the Etihad next month, 'holding hands and making a wall'. I think it might just be a master-stroke from Brown, in all honesty.
Still though, I'm undecided as to whether I love it, or I just like it; but one thing is for sure, I definitely do not discredit The Stone Roses' efforts. To step away from the game for so long and then return is not easy, especially with the heavy expectation left on their shoulders. If they didn't have the back catalogue that they do, there'd be an unholy rave about this track right now; but because of that pure reason, I feel some may be left with that bitter-sweet taste of lemon in their mouths (and ears).
